Article 262 give authority to Parliament that to pass laws like State Water Dispute Act or to make an authorized body of Water Board for resolving arguments between two states of the country. अनु 262 संसद को अधिकार देता है कि वह अंतराज्य जल विवाद को सुलझाने हेतु विधि का निर्माण करे संसद ने अंतराज्य जल विवाद तथा बोर्ड एक्ट पारित किये थे

The jurisdiction of the Supreme Court may also be excluded in certain other matters , e.g . inter-State water disputes -LRB- article 262 -RRB- , matters referred to the Finance Commission -LRB- article 280 -RRB- and adjustment of certain expenses and pensions between the Union and the States -LRB- article 290 -RRB- . उच्चतम न्यायालय की अधिकारिता को कतिपय अन्य मामलों में भी अलग रखा जा सकता है जैसे , राज्यों के बीच जल विवाद ( अनुच्छेद 262 ) , वित्त आयोग को सौंपे गए मामले ( अनुच्छेद 280 ) , तथा संघ एवं राज्यों के बीच कतिपय खर्चों तथा पेंशनों का समायोजन ( अनुच्छेद 290 ) .
